An edition with breathing holes

This edition comprises three variations of prints created from superimposed photographic and drawn motifs. The top layer has been perforated – as in the artist's book. The perforations open up the image and allow a glimpse of the layers beneath.
The perforations are deliberate interventions in the surface: they create both reduction and openness. In their fragility, they allude to vulnerability, permeability, and sensitivity. The holes are both omissions that conceal certain areas and openings that allow for new perspectives.

All three are for sale and can be hung individually or as a series. Price on request.
